A little yellow bird lands on the windowsill. A green wizard in an orange hat freezes. Her tail twitches. Her sparkly eyes grow huge. And then she starts making the strangest, cutest noise ever: ek-ek-ek-ek-mrrp! Her tiny jaw chatters like a very excited, very small machine.
Chatterus Birdus is an ancient summoning spell, and it has never once worked. The bird just looks at her. She chatters louder. The bird hops away. She turns to you like it's your fault. Tomorrow she will try again, full of hope and toe beans.
