Hunt & Play Arcana: Pounce Spells
Fishus Bowlus Stareus
Incantation
Little orange friend.
Little orange snack.
The glass is between us.
For now.
PATIENCE.
- Crime
- Stares longingly at the fish tank.
- Casting time
- All afternoon, every afternoon
- Mana cost
- 1 fishbowl, 1 squished cat nose, and 0 blinks for three hours
The Spellbook describes the scene like this: our tiny wizard cat, pressing its face against a fishbowl, a small fish staring back calmly. Casting time: all afternoon, every afternoon.
Little orange friend. Little orange snack. The glass keeps the peace, barely. The mana bill arrives right on schedule: 1 fishbowl, 1 squished cat nose, and 0 blinks for three hours.
No apology is ever issued. Only a slow blink, which, in Spellbook Latin, means "you are welcome."
Counter-spell
1. Use a secure lid on fish tanks and bowls.
2. Give your cat a window view or cat TV for safe 'hunting' entertainment.
3. Provide interactive play so the fish are less of a project.
