They worry you cannot hunt, so they brought you dinner. Say thank you. The mana bill arrives right on schedule: 1 toy mouse, 1 human pillow, and 1 enormous sense of pride.
Then they wash one paw, very slowly, as if nothing happened at all.
Counter-spell
1. Schedule daily interactive play that ends with a 'catch', so the hunt feels finished.
2. Rotate toys every few days to keep them exciting.
3. Put wand and string toys away after play; strings can be dangerous if swallowed.
4. Give them safe ambush spots like tunnels and boxes.
