Picture this: our tiny wizard cat, shaking one paw in disgust in first snow. Casting time: one single step into the snow.
One paw in the cold white fluff, one very loud complaint. The mana bill arrives right on schedule: 1 fresh snowfall, 1 brave paw, and an immediate and total loss of bravery.
Sparkly eyes, zero regret, maximum floof. The spell is complete.
Counter-spell
1. A window perch or a bird feeder outside gives safe entertainment.
2. Chattering at birds is normal hunting excitement.
3. Follow window time with a play session so they get to 'catch' something.
