Order of the Loaf: Slumber Sorcery
Yawnus Gigantus
Incantation
Open wide.
Wider.
Behold my fangs.
Now, a nap.
- Crime
- Yawns enormously and shows off tiny fangs.
- Casting time
- Right in the middle of being petted
- Mana cost
- 1 enormous yawn, 2 tiny fangs, and 0 manners about covering her mouth
The Spellbook describes the scene like this: our tiny wizard cat, with an enormous yawn showing tiny fangs. Casting time: right in the middle of being petted.
The yawn is bigger than the cat. Witnesses report four fangs and zero embarrassment. The mana bill arrives right on schedule: 1 enormous yawn, 2 tiny fangs, and 0 manners about covering her mouth.
Then they wash one paw, very slowly, as if nothing happened at all.
Counter-spell
1. Provide warm spots on purpose: a window perch, a fleece bed, or a pet-safe heated pad on low.
2. Leave room to move away from heat so they can regulate their temperature.
3. Put a cozy bed near where you are; many cats want warmth and company.
