Our wizard is hiding. She is very well hidden. She has tucked herself directly behind one thin chair leg, which covers precisely one stripe of her face. The rest of her, a big pink fluffy round wizard, is extremely visible. Her sparkly eyes peek out on either side of the leg. She believes she is invisible. Do not tell her.
Scholars of hide-and-seek have studied Hidus Terriblus at length and concluded that it does not work at all, ever. But if you say "where did the kitty go?" out loud, she gives the tiniest delighted mrrp and wiggles her toe beans. Play along. It's the law.
