It's a quiet evening. Then, suddenly, our tiny wizard stops, puffs up to twice her size, pink hat trembling, and yells at an empty corner of the room with all her heart. You look. Nothing is there. She looks. Nothing is there. She yells again anyway. Her sparkly eyes are very wide and very serious. The house has been warned.
Scholars believe the corner is home to an invisible enemy that only cats and tiny wizards can see. Others believe there is nothing there at all. Our wizard does not care what scholars believe. She has done her job. She gives a small proud mrrp, smooths her fur, and goes back to her nap.
