Night Terrors & Zoomies: 3AM Conjurations
Toesus Attackus
Incantation
Something moves.
Under the blanket.
It is prey.
It is your toe.
- Crime
- Pounces on your toes under the blanket.
- Casting time
- The moment you wiggle your feet under the blanket
- Mana cost
- 2 moving toes, 1 blanket, and a full-speed pounce from out of nowhere
Here is how the spell unfolds: our tiny wizard cat, pouncing on human toes moving under a blanket. Casting time: the moment you wiggle your feet under the blanket.
Something moves under the blanket. It must be destroyed. It is your toe. The mana bill arrives right on schedule: 2 moving toes, 1 blanket, and a full-speed pounce from out of nowhere.
No apology is ever issued. Only a slow blink, which, in Spellbook Latin, means "you are welcome."
Counter-spell
1. Schedule daily interactive play that ends with a 'catch', so the hunt feels finished.
2. Rotate toys every few days to keep them exciting.
3. Put wand and string toys away after play; strings can be dangerous if swallowed.
4. Give them safe ambush spots like tunnels and boxes.
